De Plaatijzerindustrie specializes in manufacturing all kinds of vesselheads and other press and annealing operations such as Torispherical heads, Ellipsoidal heads, Dished heads, Hemispherical heads, set back ends, Hemispheres etc. and many other cold formed parts for a wide range of applications. In it`s almost 100-years of history, De Plaatijzerindustrie has specialized itself as a producer of vesselheads. With (self)developing techniques we are able to meet almost any demand concerning the production of pressurevessels in various materials.
Productionmethods We produce vesselheads with diameters from 34mm to 1400mm with our press and deep drawing methods with wall thicknesses of 2mm to 20mm. We produce larger heads with diameters up to 4000mm by the flanging of disks and spheres for applying the corner radius on a flangingmachine. Within this method, the wall thicknesses range from 3mm to 20mm. De Plaatijzerindustrie also provides a wide range of vesselheads from stock. Check out our available stocklists. Heads that are in stock can be delivered immediately. All other heads are produced on demand in our production facility in Apeldoorn, the Netherlands, with a delivery time of two to four weeks.
1000 tons power press
With our powerful flanging and coldworking presses, we can make various forms of existing projects/ vesselheads. For example with wider necks, collars, shivering, studs or other depressions. We can also carry out a variety of alignmentworks optionally in combination with a heat treatment.
