Scope of supply

The devision “Vessel Heads” at De Plaatijzerindustrie manufactures vessel heads, end caps, spherical caps and many other cold-formed components for a wide variety of applications. Vessel heads from 34 mm to 1400 mm in diameter are manufactured by pressing and deep drawing. Our pressing and deep drawing techniques make it possible to produce heads with wall thicknesses from 1 mm to 20 mm, depending upon the dimensions of the head. Heads from 600 mm to 4000 mm in diameter can be manufactured by dishing and applying the corner radius using a curling machine. Using this production method enables us to manufacture heads with wall thicknesses from 3 mm up to 20 mm, depending upon the diameter of the heads.

We are also able to supply a wide range of heads from stock. Look at our stock lists to see whether the head you need is already in our warehouse! Heads that are in stock are available for immediate delivery! All other heads will be manufactured on demand at our production site in Apeldoorn and can be supplied within 2 to 4 weeks.
