De Plaatijzerindustrie BV

De Plaatijzerindustrie BV in Apeldoorn designs and manufactures pressure vessels and apparatus such as columns, reactors, scrubbers and separators for the (petro-)chemical and nuclear industries. The pressure vessels are designed and built in compliance with international design codes such as ASME section VIII div 1+2, Stoomwezen, Lloyd’s Rules for Pressure Vessels, British Standard PD 5500, EN 13445 and AD-Merkblätter. Our products can be found on drilling platforms, oil and gas production platforms and refineries.

For the nuclear sector, De Plaatijzerindustrie produces cylinders for the transportation of uranium hexafluoride (UF6) from and to enrichment plants.

De Plaatijzerindustrie also has its own division that produces vessel heads. These vessel heads are used in the pharmaceuticals, chemical, petrochemical and food industries, as well as in the livestock breeding, agricultural and transport sectors.
